President Richard Booth
Richard
is originally from Brockport but has lived in the area for
many years. He has degrees from Syracuse University and the
University of Rochester. Prior to moving to Canandaigua in
1995, he managed a large real estate firm in Raleigh, North
Carolina. He purchased Bristol Hills Realty in 2004 and changed
the name to Bristol Realtors. in 2009, this comapny was sold
to Mitchell Pierson Jr., Inc. of Pittsford and Canandaigua
and he is a manager in the local office. In the past at Bristol
Harbour, he has been the Chairman of the Environmental Coommittee
and Presient of the Andrews Way Association. He presently is
also on the Board of Bristol Valley Theatre, the Sweden Clarkson
Recreation Foundation, and the Lakeside Foundation. He has
four children and six grandchildren widely spread out in Brockport,
Raleigh, NC and in Charlottesville, Va.

President Candace Ryan
Candace
J Ryan moved to Bristol Harbour Village in 2006 with her husband Bill. After
buying a summer home, they decided to make this chosen spot their
permanent residence and bought 5581 Lochcrest Circle. Candace
volunteered right away to be on the committee to build and then
dedicate the new Community Center. The background that
she brings to her service on the Board includes twenty years
of experience as a professional in Human Resources. Candace
is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of clinical counseling
experience. Her human resource management experience includes:
strategic planning, change management, employee relations,
and personal and professional coaching.
Secretary Ellen Monagan
I am a 21 year resident of Bristol Harbour Village. I taught
Health and Physical Education at Marcus Whitman School District
in Rushville, NY from September of 1973 to June of 2007. During
that time I also coached Varsity Swimming.
Currently, I am working at the YMCA in Canandaigua as a Lifeguard
a couple of days a week.
I love to read and sometimes also write. I am a swimmer and enjoy
living near the water.
Treasurer Bruce Hunt
Bruce and his wife Barbara are second
time owners at Bristol Harbour. Back in the mid to late 90's they
owned a condo in Building 4. Their two young children were very
active back in Pittsford and time for Bristol was non existent
so they sold their place with the dream of someday returning. Some
10 years later that dream came true and they bought a condo in
Building 5 last year. "So much has happened here at Bristol
during our 10 year absence" said Bruce, including a new beautiful
club house and the 300% increase in property values! Bruce has
spent the last 30 years maintaining and managing commercial properties
for companies such as Eastman Kodak, Wegmans and The Cabot Group.
Bruce is currently Director of Commercial Property Management with
The Cabot Group and is responsible for the financial and physical
management of over 4 million square feet of commercial property
in the Greater Rochester Area. Bruce enjoys serving others, improving
management processes and dissecting operating budgets. "Nothing
is better than improving a process and saving money" says
Hunt.Bruce also serves as Board VP for the Foundation For A Miracle,
a group that raises money to assist local families that have loved
ones suffering from disease called Friedreichs Ataxia.
Member Mark Moretti
Mark has owned a condo at Bristol
Harbor for many years with his wife Joyce. He has been a partner
at the law firm of Phillips Lytle since 1985 working as a trial
attorney in commercial, construction and real property related
litigation. He is a Trustee of the Monroe County Bar Association,
and has just finished his term as the Chairman of the Trial Section
of the NYSBA which numbers about 2,800 trial attorneys around the
state. Previouly he seved as Chair of the Courts, Real Property
Tax, and UPL Committees of the MCBA. He is also on the Board
of VLSP and was formerly Chair of the Foodlink Board of Directors.
Member Richard (Dick) Scott
Dick Scott is
a retired Xerox Principle consultant and engineer, living full-time
with his wife Kathy in the Cliffside Condos since 2006. Dick
attended NCSU for his BS in Computer Science prior to serving
5 years active duty in the army as a helicoptor pilot and artillery
Captain . After attending UT Austin in Engineering, Dick went
to work for Ford as a Product Design Engineer, then later as
a Project Engineer for Mobil overseeing large construction projects.
Over the years Dick has served in numerous Church groups including
church construction, community enterprise, and outfeach committees
and is completing his MA degree in Pastoral Studies at St Bernard's
Institute of Theology. Dick and Kathy have two sons, Brian and
Matt who frequently visit our stunningly beautiful BHVA venues
(which are kept pristine by the oversight of the BHVA Board and
EC Committees ) at Bristol Harbor Village.
Member Leo Raab
Leo and his wife Carolyn moved
to Vardon Drive in 2002.
Leo is retired from Eastman Kodak. His 32 years consisted of
a variety of positions which included, Industrial Relations,
Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Manufacturing
Manager, Assembly Production Manager, Plant Layout and Project
planning.
Previously he worked at Taylor Instruments as a Computer Machine
programmer, Tool designer and Industrial Engineer. He also worked
at Pfaudler Corp as a lab technician and Bausch & Lomb as
a Lens polisher.
He a is a graduate of Alfred Tech with a AAS degree in Mechanical
Technology and a graduate of RIT with a BS degree in Industrial/Mechanical
Engineering.
He was a member of the Apprentice Roundtable, Numerical Control
Society and Industrial Engineering Society.
Leo served on the WMOCO BOCES advisory board and was Chairman
of the Orleans-Niagara BOCES advisory Board.
Member Kathy Wydra
Kathy has been a resident
of The Condos for more than 5 years. She has her MBA from R.I.T.
and her N.Y.S. Professional Nursing License. Most recently she
holds the title of Chief Nursing Officer at Newark Wayne Community
Hospital. Previously she was Vice President of Nursing, CNO at
Thompson Health. Kathy has many years experience serving on various
boards in Monroe and Ontario Counties.
Member Patt Jones
Patt Brdey Jones
- Patt and her husband Steve moved to Andrews Way in May of 2007
to be closer to their older son and his family. She has always
been involved with public relations and retired from AT&T after 21 years service receiving
numerous commendations, and was a recipient of their highest 'Shared
Values Award' for outstanding customer service. After moving here,
she wrote the column 'Patt's Chats' for the Villager up until last
year. As Recreation Chairperson, she has been instrumental in bringing
free Yoga, Line Dancing and NIA exercise classes and possibly 'Belly
Dancing' to the residents of Bristol Harbour. Patt also started
what is fast becoming an annual event the "Cookie Exchange" held
at Christmas time. Before moving here, she conducted many healing
retreats offered by The Franciscans of the Renewal. She is now
a Visitation Minster with St. Mary's Church bringing communion
and visiting the sick at Thompson Hospital on Mondays. She is also
a Literacy Volunteer and is permanent volunteer at the Canandaigua
jail on Tuesday's. Patt also volunteers at least once to twice
a month at the Thopmson Food Pantry. She is also a member of the
Regnum Christi prayer group, Woods Library History Book Club, the
'Country Girls' line dancing troupe, the Quilt Club, the Theater
Group and the Arts & Craft Group. She would like to mention
that without Steve's help she wouldn't be able to have so much
fun doing all these great things :):)
