Subject: Roll off Dumpster for Brush Removal-Snow plow damage repair
Dear BHVA Residents;
A roll off dumpster will be installed at the Community Center Parking Lot on Monday, May 5, 2008 for the disposal of BRUSH only. This dumpster will be available until it is filled to capacity. At that time it will be removed.
Individual brush removal will remain available to residents (see charges below). Please remember, you must call the office at 396-2700 and let us know your unit number and that you have yard debris to be picked up. A charge based on volume of brush will be assessed. The collected fees will be allocated to the Recreation Fund and used exclusively for recreation activities and equipment as determined by the Recreation Committee.
Disposal charges:
Full Truck - $25.00 Half Truck Load - $12.50 Bags - $1.00 per bag
The garbage rooms and the forever wild areas are NOT to be used to dispose of brush. A charge will be imposed if the BHVA staff has to remove the debris from the forever wild area or the garbage rooms.
As a reminder, snowplow damage will only be repaired until May 2, 2008. Repairs will be confined to the common areas at corners of intersections and any roadside damage. Any damage to driveway above where it intersects the road is the responsibility of the resident or your independent plowing contractor. BHVA will review each repair request in order to determine who is responsible for the damage. Homeowners are responsible for any repair of any damage to common areas caused by private contractors they have hired for various services.
