BRISTOL HARBOUR VILLAGE ASSOCIATION, INC.
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR HARBORING A PET:

 

1. All pets, which will be taken outside the owner’s condominium or house on any occasion, must be registered with the Bristol Harbour Village Association, Inc. This procedure enables the Association to ensure that all pet owners receive a tag, which must be worn by the pet identifying them as being registered at the Bristol Harbour Village Association, Inc. and a copy of “Rules and Regulations for Harboring a Pet”.
2. A pet owner shall complete a Pet Registration Form and send it to the Bristol Harbour Village Association, 30 Golfside Circle, Canandaigua, NY 14424. A $5.00 per pet lifetime registration fee is required. Once you have registered your pet, a rules packet will be sent to you along with a tag identifying your pet as belonging at Bristol Harbour Village.
3. Dogs, cats, and birds may be kept only as a domestic pet. It cannot be used for any commercial purpose, including (but not limited to) breeding for sale, research, or experimentation.
4. All dogs and cats must wear collars at all times with the BHVA ID tag. Any pet found without a tag will be picked up as a stray and held for the Humane Society.
5. No dogs or cats shall be permitted to run at large or to roam without a leash on any lands other than: • its owner’s land • the wooded area to the north of building 5 and west of buildings 4 and 5
6. Except in areas designated above, pets must be walked on a leash in the vicinity of the “Pet Waste Containers”.

     These are located as follows: 
			1. behind the parking deck between Buildings 1 and 2 
			2. opposite Building 3 
			3. opposite Building 4 
			4. opposite Building 5 
			5. on Golfside Circle near the Tennis Courts 
			6. Harbour Lane/Spyglass Hill area 
It is the obligation of pet owner’s; day or night, immediately to scoop up the pet’s droppings and deposit them in a “Pet Waste Container”, scoops and rakes are provided. Pets are not allowed to relieve themselves in the parking areas, buildings or garages.
7. No pets are permitted in any playground area, Tennis Courts, swimming beach (or adjacent parking areas) or any part of the Golf Course.
8. If any pet causes or creates a nuisance, or unreasonable disturbance or noise, the pet owner shall correct the problem immediately.
9. Any homeowner, resident or Managing Agent personnel observing an infraction of any of these rules shall note the infraction, time, date and per owner and report it to the managing agent.
 
10. The Managing Agent will respond with the following:  
	a. On the first infraction, the Managing Agent will speak with the pet owner 
	   and ask for voluntary cooperation  regarding the infraction.
	b. The second infraction will be followed by written notification. 
	c. A third infraction will result in a fine of $100.00 to the pet owner. 
Failure to register your pet will be considered as an infraction of the Rules.
