Transfer facility Rules
A transfer station is located in the Town of South Bristol for disposal of large and non-recyclable items such as: Gas grills Furniture TV’s VCR’s/DVD Players Carpeting Mattresses Paint Cans (must be dry) Construction Debris
Permits for disposal must be purchased from Judy Hanley, Town Clerk 6500 Gannett Hill Road, West Naples, NY 14452
PLEASE NOTE…..
Freezers, Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Hot Water Heaters or any items containing Freon may be taken to:
The Bristol Transfer Facility located on County Rd #2 (off 20A) in Bristol on Saturdays between 8:00 and 1:00

RECYCLING CENTER ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Place all Acceptable items into any of the recycling containers
Cardboard, clean boxboard (shoe boxes; cereal boxes), office paper (white and colored), magazines, newspapers, junk mail, envelopes, file folders (manila and regular), computer paper (card stock paper), aluminum cans, tin cans, glass bottles and jars (green, amber and clear), and plastic bottles.
RECYCLING CENTER NOT ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Food waste (kitchen garbage), Styrofoam, plastic bags, light bulbs, batteries, computer or other electronics, glassware, ceramics, leaves/brush, wax, household furniture, construction/remodeling materials, hypodermic needles, and motor oil containers |

REMINDER: Residents must notify their contractors of the following policy: Contractors must haul away any debris. It cannot be dumped in the trash rooms.
Most contractors, appliance stores and carpet installers will make arrangements (usually for a nominal fee) to haul away your old appliances, carpet, construction material. |
