To: Bristol Harbour Home Owners From: Bristol Harbour Village Association Re: Entry Card System
The following are Instructions for using your Entry Card to gain access to the Fitness Room or the Recycling Building/Trash Compactor: (For those of you in the long term or short term rental program please read paragraph 3 carefully.) To gain access, hold your card in front of the card reader. Card Readers will be in three places: 1) For Recycling purposes: outside the Recycling Center – far left side of the building on the small door. 2) For the Fitness Room during warm months – back of the Community Center down the stairs-2nd set of doors. You will have access to the Fitness Room via the Fitness Room from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm seven days a week. · As this is a non-supervised fitness room and Recreation Room, our insurer has advised us that no person under 16 years of age will be permitted in the facility unless they have PARENTAL Supervision. Please note: No person under 18 years of age is allowed to use the Universal Machine. · Towels will not be provided in the fitness center – please bring your own. · We ask that you wipe down machines after use. Paper towels and cleanser will be at the front desk. Your Entry Card will also give you access to the Recycling Center 24 hours a day. You can no longer open the large, overhead door from the outside. However you can still open it from the inside. Once again – the card reader is placed on the far left door. Cards carry the name of the owner of the unit or property. *Long Term Rental Program: If your unit is in the Long Term Rental program you must contact your renters and make arrangements with them for the use of your card. Cards will not be issued in the name of renters. *Short Term Rental Program: If your unit is in the short term rental program, your card will allow access to the Recycling Center only. Short Term Renters will not be involved in the other aspects of the program. Owners please make arrangements with your rental agent as to how you wish to have your card distributed. If you, as an owner in the Short Term Rental Program, are planning to use your unit, please notify us regarding the dates you will be here, and we will activate a card for your use that will give you access to the Community Center and the Fitness Center during that time period (please give us several days advance notice as we will be not available to issue cards after hours, on weekends, or during holidays). In addition to ‘owner’ cards, the Community Center will reserve (5) cards for those BHVA residents who wish to reserve the facility for small gatherings. Rental times will be from 11 am to11 pm – weekends only. Please note – this does not include the fitness room. You may purchase a second Entry Card for $10.00. We ask that you let us know as quickly as possible if you lose or damage your card. For security reasons, we will deactivate it and issue you a replacement within 24 hours – this does not include after hours, weekends or holidays. The cost to replace a lost or damaged card is $50.00. Entry Cards can be picked up in the office at the Community Center (8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday). The office is closed on the weekends and holidays.
*Placing a Entry Card next to other credit cards, on a computer or laptop, on speakers, or close to magnetic objects may damage them and cause them to deactivate permanently.
Thank you for your support and patience. Michelle Alvaro Site Manager |
